Candidates aim to position hardworking families for success
MEDIA, PA: Republican County Council candidates Mike Morgan, Kelly Colvin and Jim Raith announced a new proposal today aimed at ensuring late-shift child care is accessible and affordable for the families who fuel our local economy.
“As a working mom of two, one with special needs, I understand the caretaking pressures of a two-income family,” said candidate Kelly Colvin, “Few jobs are 9-5 these days, yet the system supports that. We need more flexibility and options for our families in Delaware County.”
“Delaware County is blessed with countless hardworking families,” said candidate Mike Morgan, “Government should be bending-over-backwards to ensure the families of late-shift workers are supported as these jobs are the bedrock of our economy.”
