Mike Morgan is running for Delaware County Council to ensure county government serves us responsibly, efficiently and effectively.
Earning a reputation as a high-energy civic leader, Mike brings people together of all backgrounds to get things done. He is the Chairman Emeritus of the Foundation of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce to advance business, leadership, and education.
With a background in business and Information Technology (IT) consulting, Mike has a keen eye for making things functional and affordable. As an executive at Accenture, Mike’s responsibilities spanned the globe.
A walk-on NCAA Division I swimmer at the University of Virginia, Mike earned a full academic/athletic scholarship by his senior season. He graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems.
Adopted as a child, Mike has dedicated himself to youth leadership and mentorship. He is a Board Member of the Adoption Center to increase the number of foster children who move into adoptive families. He has earned recognition for coaching swimming and baseball.
Mike is a Board Member of the Episcopal Academy Parents’ Association, and former Member of the Board of Trustees. He is a Board Member of the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County, Horizons at Episcopal Academy, and Summer Search Philadelphia.
He is a trained SpeakUp! facilitator to bring youth, educators, and parents together for open, honest conversations about tough topics.
Mike’s wife, Jen, is an Executive Board Member at SAP, a global information technology company. Mike and Jen have two teen-aged sons, Ned and Eric. A second-degree Knight of Columbus, Mike and his family attend St. Anastasia Parish.
